I was lucky enough to photograph the B. family last weekend and what a fun bunch they were!  There are just oodles of images of everyone (including one couple getting married in just a few weeks--*best wishes* J&J!!) but here are a few that caught my eye right away.  The mom in this first image is the sister of one of my favorite clients, so a big hello to L. if you are reading, and of course a thank you to K. and the entire family for having me!

I was delighted to photograph the lovely R. family recently. Miss H. and her clearly adoring little brother T. could not have been sweeter. And the light in their sunroom--glorious!  Thank you so very much, H. and T. Here are just a few quick sneak peeks for your Mom and Dad, including two that just had to be in color. :)

I have said many times that I have the most adorable clients and here is further proof.

This was little T.'s first time in the pool, I believe.  He loved it but loved laughing at big sister even more--aww! Finally, as the perfect complement to her more contemplative sunroom countenance, H. gleefully shows off two of her favorite friends. More to come in your gallery soon!

Clients always ask if I have favorites from their session, and of course I do! Some are favorites because of the connection I've captured between family members. Some are favorites because they precisely encapsulate a particular facet of a child's personality. Some are favorites quite inexplicably. All of my favorites, though, have that little special something that all photographers strive not only to capture, but also to recognize once they've seen it. That last bit is trickier than you might think. Here are just a few photos from recent sessions that I love. Have a wonderful weekend, all!

. . . on getting work done, answering e-mails, and--most of all--scheduling!  About a week and a half ago EVERYONE decided to call me.  Don't get me wrong, I'm thilled, but how does that happen? Everyone all at once? :) At any rate, weekend sessions are now booked through August 8th. If you had a summer weekend session in mind, check your calendar and then shoot me an e-mail! I also have limited weekday morning sessions available in June and July for those in the Main Line area (either at your homes as usual, or at various outdoor locations if you are traveling in from the city). The blog is going to be full of adorable children this summer, I can just feel it!

In the midst of preparing for our big move (all the way across the county to a new township, ha!) and finishing up pre-K (sniff sniff) we took a break last weekend to visit Pun's Toys.  Miss M was delighted to find an "egg and spoon race" set just days after watching a Charlie and Lola episode about the very same thing.  So off we went, concentrating and ultimately "splatting" all the way.  Then at the end she gave me some "poses" of her own fashioning.  I guess no one told her that I don't really pose children. ;)

First I must ask . . . have you had enough rain yet? I love the rain (no really, I do) but even I am ready to get a glimpse of sunshine!  My poor clients whose session had to be rescheduled feel the same way, surely!  If only I could add "controller of weather" to my resume . . . .

One gathering that was NOT rained out this weekend took place at Nurture in Ardmore. Yay! I was so pleased to cover a speed sitter interview event for Premier Sitter Services. Think speed dating, but better . . . Premier Sitter Services connects parents with sitters in a fun, fast, efficient way. Here are just a few shots from the morning event.
