I was so happy that I was able to squeeze in the M. family last week. Sweet A. was just adorable--as you will soon see--and had the best hair I have seen on a baby this year (and he has had lots of competition!).  Thank you so very much, M. family!  Here's a super-sized sneak peek for you . . . I couldn't help myself!

The last time I said "grazie mille" (thank you very much or, literally, a thousand thanks!) I was in Rome thanking more than one vendor of delicious stracciatella. But today I have to say it to the K. family, who have a good bit of distance between the studio in Wayne and their home in Florence, Italy.  Thank you, S.!  It was lovely to see you again and photograph the ever-adorable J. and V.  I'm in love with the entire session and here's just a small peek.

Don't say I didn't warn you--adorable! It was so wonderful to see you again, G. family!  I cannot believe how much H. has grown in the past year (she is the newborn on my website contact page--how did the year fly by so quickly?).  Many more images to come in your full gallery! 

I am so far behind in sneak peeks that a few of you will be getting "sneak peeks" and full galleries nearly at the same time.  Whew!  I've been shooting much more than usual this month and also had a quick trip to California (and oh, taught a workshop!) and am looking forward to catching up on everything else soon.  It will happen!  I declare it to be so! :)

For the third (extra)ordinary workshop, we tried something a bit different for the "real home" family session on the second day.  For the first two workshops we did indeed go to a "real" home, but our "clients" for the day were friends of mine (who are also clients, but I digress . . .) so there was a certain level of comfort there that one wouldn't necessarily have at a stranger shoot. For our July workshop, however, we kept it completely real!  The R. family graciously volunteered to host the paparazzi for the morning and I photographed a family I'd never met before in a home I'd never seen before . . . in other words, what I do most days! This time I had a lot of company, though--no pressure!

We had a wonderful time at the third extraordinary workshop in early July--so much fun, in fact, that I'll need two blog posts to cover it!

One of the highlights for me was photographing a few of my past clients at the studio and seeing just how much they've grown--astonishing!  Thank you for participating! (Oh, and one image is from someone I see everyday; she was eager to show off her "poses" so I don't suppose anyone told her that mommy doesn't pose kids!).
